Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Carrots
  • ¼ cup Basmati Rice
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 2 litre Milk
  • Sugar To Taste
  • 8 pods Cardamom
  • 2 tbsp Almonds
  • 2 tbsp Pistachios
  • 1 tsp Kewra Water
  • 1 cup Cream
  • Pistachios

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl,grate carrots with the help of grater & set aside.
  • In a grinder, add soaked rice, water & grind coarsely & set aside.
  • In a pot,add milk & bring it to boil.
  • Add grated carrots, ground rice and mix well, bring it to boil & cook on medium flame for 5-6 minutes, cover partially & cook on low flame for 18-20 minutes and keep stirring in between.
  • Add sugar,cardamom seeds,almonds,pistachios,mix well & cook on medium flame until milk is reduced and thickened (5-6 minutes).
  • Add kewra water & mix well
  • Turn off the flame,add cream and mix well.
  • Turn on the flame and cook for a minute.
  • Garnish with pistachios & serve hot or chilled!
