Baked Fish
Ingredients
- 1 kg Poppet fish
- 3 nos Potatoes
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Crushed garlicĀ
- 1/2 cup Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Crushed Red Chilli
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 4 tbsp Cooking oil
Instructions
- Clean and wash the fish well.
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into thick slices and boil them in boiling water for four to five minutes, then put turmeric on them.
- Add salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic and cooking oil to the lemon juice and mix and marinate the fish with it and keep it in the fridge for an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 180C for fifteen minutes and grease a baking tray.
- First put a layer of potato wedges in the baking tray then place the fish on them.
- After ten minutes of baking, keep the grill on top for two minutes, then remove the tray from the oven and add the remaining spices on top and bake for another three to four minutes.
