Heat oil in a pressure cooker and saute whole spices like cumin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, green cardamom and bay leaf.
Add ginger-garlic paste and fry it till you can smell the spices. Add the green chillies.
You can also add your choice of vegetables at this step, this is however optional.
Pour the coconut milk and water. Next add the rice and mix this well. Close the pressure cooker.
Simply cook the coconut rice milk on medium heat till it release pressure (1 whistle).
The coconut milk rice is ready!
