Dhuwan Dahi Biryani Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken
- 1½ cup Marinate With Yogurt
- 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder
- ¾ cup Brown Onion
- ½ bunch Mint Leaves
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tsp All Spice
- ½ cup Oil
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 750 gm Boiled Rice
- A pinch Yellow Color
- A pinch Saffron
- Coal For Smoke
For Potli:
- 1 Bay Leaves
- 2 Black Cardamom
- 6 Cloves
- 6 Black Pepper
- 2 Star Anise
Instructions
- Make potli with the whole spices. Heat ½ cup oil, add half quantity of brown onion. Marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, chili powder, salt, allspice and lemon juice.
- In your fried onion, add marinated chicken, remove on sides, make a well, add muslin cloth, top with boiled rice, then add yellow color, saffron.
- Put to cook on fast flame for 5 mins, then lower flame for 20 mins till chicken done, then give dum of coal.
