Easy Lemon-Pepper Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups Oil
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Lemon-Pepper Seasoning
- 12 Chicken Wings
- Lemon Wedges
Instructions
- In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, heat the cooking oil until it reaches 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190°C).
- Mix the extra-virgin olive oil and lemon pepper seasoning in a large bowl. Set aside.
- Pat the wings dry with a paper towel.
- Drop the wings into the hot oil and fry in batches for about 7-8 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to check each wing reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (75°C).
- Place the cooked wings on a wire baking rack and continue frying until all the wings are done.
- While they’re still hot, toss the wings in the lemon pepper and olive oil mixture.
- Serve with lemon wedges and sauce if desired.
