
Podina Daal Bun Kabab Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup Chanay ki daal
- 1 tsp Sa;t
- 1 inch piece Ginger
- 1 tbsp Garlic (crushed)
- 2 ½ cup Water
- 4 qty Bread slices
- 1 cup Potatoes (boiled & mashed)
- 1 tsp All Spice
- ½ tsp Khatai Powder heaped
- Flour to coat
- 2 tbsp Mint Leaves (chopped)
- 1 qty Onions (finely chopped)
- 3 qty Green Chilies (chopped)
- ¼ tsp Salt
- Egg to coat
- Crumbs to coat
- 1 ½ tsp Red Pepper (crushed)
- 1 tsp Cumin (crushed)
TO ASSEMBLE
- 4 qty Burger Buns
- 4 qty Cucumber slices
- 4 qty Tomatoes slices
- Salad Leaves few
- Tamarind Chutney to serve
Instructions
- Boil daal with salt, ginger, garlic and water till daal is tender and water dries off.
- Now add soaked and squeezed mashed potatoes and all the rest.
- Form kabab shape out of this mixture.
- Dip in beaten egg , roll in crumbs and deep fry.
