Peri Peri Chicken Skewers Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 Chicken Fillets
- Bell Peppers Cubes
- Onions
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- ½ tsp Green Masala
- 1 Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- ½ tsp Caraway Seeds(Shahi Jeera)
- ¼ tsp Lemon Pepper
- ¼ tsp Cajun Spice
- 2 tbsp Oil
Sauce:
- ½ cup Peri Peri Sauce
- 2 tbsp Mild OR Lemon & Herb Sauce
- 2 tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
- Once the skewers have cooked baste with the above sauce.
Instructions
- Marinate your chicken in the above . Adjust spices according to preference
- Skewer alternating with peppers/onions
- Cook in a flat pot with a slice of butter .Do not dry out
- Once chicken is almost cooked transfer to a frying pan and chargrill.
- Place back in the pot and simmer. Place a hot piece of charcoal in a foil or steel container with a few tbsp of butter or oil . Close the pot.. for a few minutes till the smoke has stopped.
