In a pot heat water and bring it to boil and turn off flame. score your tomatoes making a cross sign and put into the water. Stir them once and wait for 2-3 minutes, you will notice the tomatoes’ skin is separating.
Transfer them in cold water and Peel off the skin and set aside.
In a karahi heat oil and add fat, cook for 7-8 minutes, now add meat, cook for 4-5 minutes on high flame.
Now add ginger garlic paste and mix well. Add black pepper, cumin seeds, salt, red chili powder, crushed coriander, red chili flakes and mix well.
Now add blanched tomatoes and cover and cook for 15-20 minutes.
Remove the lid and mix tomatoes well. Cover again and cook for 35 to 40 mins on low medium flame until meat is tender. Remove the lid and cook for 4-5 mins on high flame.
Garnish with ginger, green chilies and green coriander. Your Dumba Karahi is ready.
