Delicious Turkish Pide Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Yeast
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt
  • Water as required
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
  • 700 g Mutton Mince
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Crushed Red Chilies
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup Onion
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 cup Tomatoes
  • ½ cup Coriander leaves
  • ½ cup Capsicum

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl add flour, salt, yeast, egg, oil, yogurt, milk and mix all well. Gradually add water and knead a soft dough and rest it for 1-2 hours in a warm place.
  • In a pan heat oil, add mutton mince and cook until its water about to dry.
  • Add garlic paste, black pepper, salt, crushed red chili, zeera powder, paprika and cook until mince dries out. Let it cool.
  • In a bowl add cooked mince, add onion, tomatoes, capsicum and coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Punch down the dough and divide it into 6 equal parts.
  • Take 1 part and roll it in an oval shape.
  • Apply mince mixture leaving the sides.
  • Now join the dough and give it a boat shape.
  • Apply egg wash.
  • Sprinkle some onion seeds and sesame seeds.
  • Bake it for 15-20 minutes at 180°C.
  • Before last five minutes take out and sprinkle some mozzarella cheese and bake for another 5 minutes.
