Hunzai Chicken Handi Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp Onion Fried
  • 1 Green chili
  • cup Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Tikka Masala Powder
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 750 g Boneless Chicken Cubes
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 6 Button Red Chillies
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • Salt To Taste
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ cup Cream
  • 1 tsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Coriander
  • 1 tbsp Desi Ghee
  • Capsicum Cubes
  • Onion Cubes
  • Onion Fried

Instructions
 

  • In a blender jug, add tomatoes, fried onion and green chili, blend well & set aside.
  • In a bowl,add yogurt,tikka masala,lemon juice & mix well.
  • Add chicken & mix well, cover & marinate for 30 minutes.
  • In a wok,add cooking oil,marinated chicken,mix well & cook on medium flame until chicken is tender (12-15 minutes) then cook on high flame until oil separates.
  • Add button red chillies & mix well.
  • Add blended mixture & mix well for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add coriander powder,salt,cumin seeds,red chilli powder,garam masala powder,turmeric powder, mix well & cook on medium flame for 4-5 minutes.
  • On low flame,add cream & mix well.
  • Add dried fenugreek leaves,fresh coriander & mix well,cover & cook on low flame for 10-12 minutes.
  • In a serving clay pot,add desi ghee & let it melt.
  • Add capsicum,onion & sauté for a minute.
  • Add prepared chicken handi & mix well.
  • Garnish with fried onion & serve.
