Omani Khabeesa Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup Semolina (suji)
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 395 g Condensed Milk
  • 1 tsp Ground Cardamom
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tbsp Rose Water
  • ½ tsp Saffron Powder

Instructions
 

  • In a medium sauce pan combine Semolina and Milk and bring to a boil.
  • Add Condensed Milk, Cardamom, Butter, Rosewater and Saffron Powder and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and allow to cook and before serving. The Khabeesa will become slightly thick as it cools down.
