Saucy Baked Chicken With Bread Dumplings Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup Oil 
  • 2 tbsp Butter 
  • ½ kg Boneless Chicken
  • 2 Green Chilies Chopped
  • ½ cup Cream 
  • 3 tbsp Flour 
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 cups Chicken Stock
  • 2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt 
  • ½ cup Sweet Corn
  • 1 Capsicum 
  • 2 Boiled egg
  • ½ cup Mushrooms 

For Bread Dumplings:

  • cup Flour 
  • 1 tsp Yeast 
  • ½ cup Milk 
  • tsp Sugar 
  • ½ tsp Salt 
  • ¼ cup Oil 
  • 1 Egg Yolk For Brushing

Instructions
 

For Dumplings:

  • Knead all together except egg yolk, soft, leave to rise for 1 hour.

For Chicken:

  • Heat butter and oil in a pan, add chicken, green chilies then add salt, crushed red pepper, fry for 2 mins, add vegetables and flour, cook for 1 min.
  • Add stock, cream, cook till thick, add lemon juice, remove in a pyrex dish, top the corners with a dough, make a string of dough or make balls and place on corners, cut into pieces with knife, cover and keep aside till double, brush with egg.
  • sprinkle with crushed pepper in center, bake for 20 mins on 190 D.
