Easy Lemon-Pepper Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Oil
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon-Pepper Seasoning
  • 12 Chicken Wings
  • Lemon Wedges

Instructions
 

  • In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, heat the cooking oil until it reaches 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190°C).
  • Mix the extra-virgin olive oil and lemon pepper seasoning in a large bowl. Set aside.
  • Pat the wings dry with a paper towel.
  • Drop the wings into the hot oil and fry in batches for about 7-8 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to check each wing reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (75°C).
  • Place the cooked wings on a wire baking rack and continue frying until all the wings are done.
  • While they’re still hot, toss the wings in the lemon pepper and olive oil mixture.
  • Serve with lemon wedges and sauce if desired.
