Winter Special Chicken Yakhni Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 600 g Chicken (Desi or Normal)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Bay leave
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 5 Cloves
  • 10 Black Peppercorns
  • 1 tsp Coriander Seeds
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • ¼ tsp Fennel Seeds
  • 1 tsp Crushed Black Pepper
  • 2 Green cardamom
  • Salt To Taste
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 litre Water
  • Eggs
  • Crushed Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a pot, add oil & heat it.
  • Add desi chicken & mix well until it changes color.
  • Add ginger,garlic,mix well & cook for a minute.
  • Add onion ,bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, black peppercorns, cloves, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, green cardamoms, black pepper crushed, salt, fresh turmeric, chicken cubes & mix well.
  • Add water and mix well,bring it to boil and remove scum then cover & cook on medium flame until chicken is tender and stock is reduced to half (approx. 1.5 hours).
  • Now strain the stock with the help of the strainer, reserve chicken for serving & discard the leftover.
  • In a serving bowl, add boiled chicken.
  • Garnish with boiled egg, sprinkle black pepper crushed & serve hot!
