Dhuwan Dahi Biryani Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Chicken
  • cup Marinate With Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • ¾ cup Brown Onion
  • ½ bunch Mint Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tsp All Spice
  • ½ cup Oil 
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 750 gm Boiled Rice
  • A pinch Yellow Color
  • A pinch Saffron
  • Coal For Smoke

For Potli:

  • 1 Bay Leaves
  • 2 Black Cardamom
  • 6 Cloves
  • 6 Black Pepper
  • 2 Star Anise

Instructions
 

  • Make potli with the whole spices. Heat ½ cup oil, add half quantity of brown onion. Marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, chili powder, salt, allspice and lemon juice.
  • In your fried onion, add marinated chicken, remove on sides, make a well, add muslin cloth, top with boiled rice, then add yellow color, saffron.
  • Put to cook on fast flame for 5 mins, then lower flame for 20 mins till chicken done, then give dum of coal.
