Basil Roti for Weight Loss Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Basil seeds
  • 1 tbsp Flax seeds
  • cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 tbsp Wheat Bran
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Water

Green Chutney:

  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Chickpeas
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2-3 Green Chilies
  • 1 cup Fresh Coriander
  • ½ cup Mint Leaves

Instructions
 

  • In water, add basil seeds, mix well and soak for 15 minutes & set aside.
  • In mixer ,add flax seeds, grind well & set aside
  • In bowl,add whole wheat flour, wheat bran, cumin seeds, salt, ground flax seed and soaked basil seeds, mix well.
  • Gradually add water,knead until dough is formed and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • Knead dough again,take a small dough,coat in dry flour and make a ball.
  • Sprinkle flour and roll out with the help of rolling pin.
  • Heat griddle, place rolled dough and cook from both sides.

For Green Chutney:

  • In blender,add garlic,chickpeas,cumin seeds,pink salt,coconut oil,lemon juice,green chilies,fresh coriander, mint leaves and blend until well combined.
