Galawat Ka Qeema Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • ½ kg Beef Mince
  • 1 cup Papaya Paste
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Powder
  • 7-8 Cloves
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 5-6 Green Cardamoms
  • ½ tsp Poppy Seeds
  • 4-5 Red Whole Chili
  • 1 cup Ghee
  • Salt To Taste
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • ½ cup Fried Onion
  • Chopped Coriander For Garnish
  • Charcoal For Smoke

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl combine beef mince with raw Papaya paste ginger garlic paste, mix well, cover and let it marinate for overnight or 3 hours.
  • In a frying pan add coconut, cinnamon stick, cloves, green cardamom, poppy seeds, red whole chili and roast and then grind into a coarse powder.
  • In a wok heat ghee over medium flame, add the masala and mix.
  • Add the marinated beef mince and stir for a minute or two.
  • Add salt and mix. Add yogurt and mix.
  • Add chopped coriander and cook for about 10 minutes on low flame.
  • Then add garam masala and mix. Add fried onions and mix.
  • Place a heated charcoal, pour few drops of oil, cover the lid and let it steam for a minute of two. Serve.
