Loaded Mirchi Pakora Recipe

Ingredients
  

Potato Filling:

  • 3-4 Boiled Potatoes
  • 4 tbsp Tamarind pulp
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Crushed Red Chilies
  • 1 tbsp Chaat Masala
  • ½ tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Coriander Seeds

Pakora mixture:

  • cup Gram Flour
  • ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Ajwain (Carom seeds)
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Food Color
  • ¾ cup Water
  • 20-25 Large Green Chillies
  • Oil For Frying
  • Chaat Masala
  • Onion
  • Tomatoes
  • Boiled Whole Green Gram
  • Fresh Coriander
  • Yogurt
  • Crushed Red Chilies

Instructions
 

Prepare Potato Filling:

  • In a bowl add boiled potatoes & mash well with the help of masher.
  • Add tamarind pulp, salt, red chilli crushed, chaat masala, Kashmiri red chilli powder, cumin seeds, coriander seeds & mix well then set aside

Prepare Pakora Mixture:

  • In a bowl add gram flour, red chilli powder, salt, carom seeds, baking soda, orange food color & mix well.
  • Gradually add water & whisk well to make thick batter (3-4 minutes),cover & then rest for 15-20 minutes.
  • Make slit on green chillies & remove its seeds.
  • Stuff prepared potato filling in green chillies & set aside (makes 20-25).
  • Transfer prepared pakora mixture in a jug and dip stuffed green chillies in the batter.
  • In a wok,heat oil and fry on medium flame until golden brown.
  • Sprinkle chaat masala & serve with ketchup or chilli garlic sauce.
  • Cut mirchi pakora from center and place them on a serving plate. Add green lentil gram in it.
  • Now add onion, tomatoes, fresh coriander, chaat masala, yogurt, and red chilli crushed from top & serve!
