Kachori Recipe

Ingredients
  

FOR DOUGH:

  • 500 gm Flour
  • 60 ml Oil
  • 60 gm Clarified butter
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tbsp Soda
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • as required Water

FOR FILLING:

  • 125 gm Mash dal powder 
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1-½ tsp Red Chili (crushed)
  • ½ tsp All spice powder
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek
  • 1 tsp Crushed Coriander
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 50 gm Clarified Butter

Instructions
 

FOR DOUGH:

  • In the flour mix all the ingredients and knead the dough well with water.
  • Leave it for about 15 minutes.

FOR FILLING:

  • Heat clarified butter, add cumin and coriander
  • Once it gets warm add the remaining ingredients
  • Lastly add mash daal powder gradually
  • Mix well
  • Then make balls out of dough, spread well and add filling
  • Heat clarified butter and deep fry the Kachori. Serve hot.
