Ingredients
  

  • 1 qty Bread Slices (big)
  • 2 kg Sugar 
  • 20 gm Nutmeg
  • 20 gm Mace
  • 7 qty Green Cardamoms
  • ½ kg Khoya
  • 50 gm Almonds
  • 50 gm Pistachios
  • 100 gm Raisins
  • 2 packets Silver Leaf
  • Clarified Butter as required

Instructions
 

  • Cut bread into four equal squares and fry in clarified butter till they turn golden brown.
  • Heat milk in a saucepan, add nutmeg, mace, green cardamoms and ½ kg khoya.
  • Mix and cook well.
  • Now spread fried bread slices in a pan, pour cooked milk mixture on the bread, and wait for the bread to absorb the liquid.
  • Garnish it with almonds, pistachios, khya and raisins. When the dish is cool enough place silver leaves on it and serve.
