Prawns Sukka Fry Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Prawns/Shrimp
  • 2 qty Onions finely chopped
  • 1 ½ qty Tomatoes – finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Chilli powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
  • Few Curry leaves (optional)
  • Coriander leaves to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Clean prawns by cutting the head and tail off.
  • Remove the outer shell.
  • Devein the prawns using a small paring knife.
  • Add some turmeric powder to get rid of the smell.
  • Wash with clean water twice and keep aside.
  • In a kadai heat oil and fry the finely chopped onions till golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and saute.
  • Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt to it.
  • Mix well.
  • To the onion-tomato paste add some water(1 cup)
  • Let it come to boil.
  • Now add the cleaned prawns to it.
  • Roast it in high flame with some more oil till dry.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
