Coconut Milk Rice Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Rice
  • cup  Coconut Milk
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 4  Green Cardamoms
  • 6 Cloves
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Salt To Taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker and saute whole spices like cumin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, green cardamom and bay leaf.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry it till you can smell the spices. Add the green chillies.
  • You can also add your choice of vegetables at this step, this is however optional.
  • Pour the coconut milk and water. Next add the rice and mix this well. Close the pressure cooker.
  • Simply cook the coconut rice milk on medium heat till it release pressure (1 whistle).
  • The coconut milk rice is ready!
