Delicious Zege Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Eggs
  • Oil For Frying
  • 1 Potatoes
  • Salt and Pepper To Taste

Optional:

  • Capsicum
  • Herbs
  • Onions
  • Grated Cheese
  • Green Chilies

Instructions
 

  • Cut the potato in fries or any shape.
  • Fry the potato strips (chips/fries) and drain on kitchen towels.
  • Lightly beat the eggs with a bit of salt and pepper.
  • Heat a small 6″ saucepan, add the oil. Sprinkle the fries and any other additions that you plan to us into the pan.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan. Pour the beaten eggs to cover everything. Cook for a couple of minutes on medium heat
  • Once the bottom of the zege is nicely coloured, gently ease a spatula under it and flip it. Cook some more until both sides are evenly coloured.
  • Serve hot with some ketchup and chopped coriander.
