Aloo Ka Bhurta Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • ½ kg Potatoes
  • Water As Needed
  • 2-3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 cup Onions
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili Flakes
  • 1 tbsp Ground Cumin
  • ½ tbsp Coriander Seeds
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt To Taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot heat water, add the cubed potatoes, cover and let it boil for 10 minutes until cooked.
  • Mash the potatoes.
  • In a frying pan, heat oil, sliced onions until translucent. Then add butter and mix.
  • Add garlic paste and mix.
  • Add the mashed potatoes then add red chili flakes, crushed coriander seeds, ground cumin, garam masala, salt and mix well. Garnish with spring onions.
