Qeema Pav Recipe
Qeema Pav is a combination of spicy mince and bread roll. Mince is easy to make, but you need to be careful while making Pav, something missing will ruin your pav. It is a healthy meal that goes great in breakfast.

FOR PAV
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 ½ tsp Instant yeast
- 1 qty Egg
- 3 tbsp Oil
- Lukewarm water to knead
- 1 qty Egg for brushing (beaten)
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
FOR QEEMA
- ½ kg Mince
- ½ cup Oil
- 4 qty Green chilies (sliced)
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 cup Onions (chopped)
- 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 3 qty Tomatoes (chopped)
- Salt to taste
- 3 tsp Red chili powder
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- ½ tsp Garam masala powder
- 2 tsp Coriander powder
- 2 tbsp Curry leaves
- ½ cup Peas (boiled)
- 2 tbsp Butter
FOR PAV
Take a bowl and add flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Mix all then add egg and oil.
Knead with lukewarm water in to soft dough.
Cover the dough leave to rise for 1 hour at warm place.
Punch down dough make in to 12 small balls. Put in a well greased square pan side by side. Cover and leave again to rise for 30 minutes until doubled.
Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle sesame seeds. Bake on 190 degrees for 12-15 minutes. After 8 minutes remove from oven and spray with water. Again place in oven and continue baking for 4-6 minutes.
FOR QEEMA
Heat oil; add green chilies sauté for 1 minute. Add cumin seeds with chopped onions fry till light golden.
Add ginger garlic paste with chopped tomatoes and salt. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Add red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder and curry leaves.
Cook for 1 minute.
Add mince.
Fry for 5 minutes.
Add 1 cup water.
Cover and cook for 20 minutes till mince tender and oil separates.
Add peas, garnish with chopped coriander. Serve with pav topped with butter.
