Mutton Boti Salan Recipe

Ingredients
  

For Marinade:

  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • ½ tsp Cloves
  • ½ tsp Yellow Mustard Seeds
  • 5-6 Cardamom
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • Water As Required
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 Onion Sliced
  • ½ kg Mutton
  • 4-5 tbsp Oil
  • 3-4 Onion Sliced
  • Salt To Taste
  • Coriander For Garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a blender add red chilli powder, cumin seeds, cloves, yellow mustard seeds, cardamom, garlic paste, ginger paste, water and blend it all together.
  • Then add cinnamon stick, sliced onion, add water if needed and blend again until it forms a paste like structure.
  • In a mixing bowl add mutton and pour the blended masala over it and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  • In a wok add oil and saute the onions until they turn brown.
  • Add marinated mutton, salt and mix well.
  • Add water and mix well and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until meat becomes tender.
    Garnish with coriander. Enjoy!
