UMME ALI BAKED CUSTARD

Ingredients
  

  • 12 Bakar Khani crushed
  • 2 tbsp Raisin soaked
  • 3 tbsp Almonds sliced
  • 3 tbsp Pistachio sliced
  • 3 tbsp Desiccated coconut

Ingredients for Milk Mixture :

  • 1 kg Milk
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Condensed milk
  • 3/4 packet Cream
  • 1/2 cup Milk powder
  • Vanilla essence few drops

Ingredients for Custard Layer :

  • 2 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla custard powder
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 drop Vanilla essence
  • 2 drop Butterscotch essence

Instructions
 

METHOD :

  • Put it all together in a saucepan, and cook the custard as instructed. For garnish add fresh cream and some more nuts

METHOD :

  • Roughly break bakar khani into 5-6 pcs in a large casserole dish, sprinkle soaked raisins, roasted almonds pistachio, and coconuts, put all the ingredients under milk mixture in a pot except essence, and bring to a boil, keep stirring, cook the milk mixture on medium flame till it reduces to ¾.
  • Carefully pour this hot milk mixture over the prepared layers of bakar khani and nuts in the dish, finally spread the cooked custard on top, now place the dish in a preheated oven on 180 D for 10 mins
  • Pour fresh cream along the edges of the dish to garnish and spread some more nuts in the center, serve hot
