  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 2 Ripe Bananas
  • 1 cup Fresh Blueberries
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Basil Seeds
  • Fresh Mint Leaves


  • Put soaked almonds in a grinder jar, add 2 cups warm water and grind till mixture is smooth.
  • Line a strainer kept on a bowl with muslin cloth, pour the ground almond mixture into it and strain the almond milk into the bowl. Grind the residue again with 1 cup warm water to get more almond milk and strain this into the same bowl.
  • Peel the bananas, break into half and put in the grinder jar. Add blueberries, vanilla essence, honey, almond milk and grind to a smooth mixture.
  • Skew blueberries and a mint sprig on each skewer.
  • Put some basil seeds in each serving glass and pour the smoothie over them. Place one skewer on each glass and serve immediately.
