
Tikka Dinner Rolls Recipe
Ingredients
Ingredients For Dough:
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Yeast
- ½ tsp Salt
- Lukewarm water to knead
- 2 tsp Oil
Ingredients For Spicy Mayo:
- ½ cup Mayonnaise
- 4 tsp Chili sauce
- 4 tsp Green chili sauce
- 1 tsp Crushed red pepper
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Onion finely chopped
- 1 tsp Coriander leaves
- 1½ tsp Mozzarella cheese
- 1-2 egg Beaten
Ingredients For Garlic Butter:
- ½ cup Melted butter
- ¼ cup Oil
- 2 tsp Crushed garlic
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- ½ tsp mixed herbs
- 1 tsp chopped coriander
- salt pinch
Ingredients For Fillet:
- 400 gm Boneless chicken
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 2 tsp Tikka masala
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
Instructions
Method For Dough:
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl, mix and knead with lukewarm water to a soft dough, apply some oil on top, cover and leave it to rise for 1 hour.
Method For Fillet:
- Marinate chicken with all the given ingredients, grill with 1 tsp oil until done, give dum of coal and keep aside.
Method For Garlic Butter:
- In a bowl mix together ½ cup melted butter, ¼ cup oil, 2tbsp crushed garlic, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, mixed herbs ½ tsp, chopped coriander 1 tsp, pinch of salt.
Method:
- Mix all together for garlic butter in a bowl and keep aside. Method for spicy mayo IN a bowl add ½ cup mayonnaise, 4 tsp chili sauce, 4 tsp green chili sauce, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, salt ¼ tsp, black pepper ¼ tsp, onion finely chopped 1 tsp, coriander leaves 1 tsp, mix all well and keep aside. Mozzarella cheese 1 ½ cup Beaten egg 1 or 2 for brushing
- To assemble Roll a ball of dough in oblong shape, put a dollop of spicy mayo followed by chicken tikka pieces, then some mozzarella cheese, fold slightly from both sides and roll to wrap it well, brush with beaten egg, bake in a pre-heated oven 200 d for 15 mins, once you remove from oven, brush generously with garlic butter, let it rest for 5 mins, the rolls will absorb the butter, serve it hot.
