In a pot, heat water and add chicken, salt, cover, and boil until the chicken is fully done. Turn off flame and reserve the stock for later use
In a pot add split chickpeas, red lentil, yellow lentil, wheat oats, barley oats, water and add water. Cover and Boil until dal gets fully tender.
Now take off the lid and turn off flame. Blend the mixture well. set aside.
In a pot heat oil and add onion and cook until starts to turn brown. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute. Now add chicken and stock and mix well.
Add turmeric powder, black pepper powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, garam masala powder and cook for a minute.
Add chicken stock, dal mixture and mix well. cover and cook for 5-8 mins.
Your chicken Haleem is ready. Dish it out and garnish it with fried onion, ginger, green chilies, lemon slices and serve.
