Thanks a lot Chef Shireen ji , I am really very happy to get this two recipe ( Mutton Akbari, Jahangiri) from you.
I am really so happy. Now would love , some background of my demand. I am an Old Dhaka Native and our Dhaka’s old name or actual name is : Jahangirabad ( estd : 1608 by Subahdar Islam Khan as a capital of United Bengal Kingdom of Emperor Jahangir ). It was Jahangirabad till His death.
Even , we people of Old Dhaka are North Indians . Mughal people with Islam Khan made this city. Time after time Mughals increase to come and it turns a mega city.
That’s why our culture is just like Delhi ,Lahore ,Karachi type culture and yes we love lots of mughlai dishes. One example is : Kachay gosht ki biryani and Shahi Haleem, mughlai paratha, seekh and boti kabab our everyday food. We also love Dum aloo / Aloo ka dam.
Finally, I need not to say , that in Bangladesh , Masala tv is very popular from beginning. People love to watch your show, late Zubeida Tarik’s show . Even from my khala ji I heard , they follow you and learnt a lots of things from your show . Outside Pakistan, here on Bangladesh , you and your show and Masala tv has huge popularity.
Finally, our prayer will be always for our Pakistani brother and sisters . May Allah protect all of us in this pandemic.
