Omani Khabeesa Recipe
Ingredients
- ¾ cup Semolina (suji)
- 2 cups Milk
- 395 g Condensed Milk
- 1 tsp Ground Cardamom
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 2 tbsp Rose Water
- ½ tsp Saffron Powder
Instructions
- In a medium sauce pan combine Semolina and Milk and bring to a boil.
- Add Condensed Milk, Cardamom, Butter, Rosewater and Saffron Powder and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and allow to cook and before serving. The Khabeesa will become slightly thick as it cools down.
