
Double ka Meetha Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 qty Bread Slices (big)
- 2 kg Sugar
- 20 gm Nutmeg
- 20 gm Mace
- 7 qty Green Cardamoms
- ½ kg Khoya
- 50 gm Almonds
- 50 gm Pistachios
- 100 gm Raisins
- 2 packets Silver Leaf
- Clarified Butter as required
Instructions
- Cut bread into four equal squares and fry in clarified butter till they turn golden brown.
- Heat milk in a saucepan, add nutmeg, mace, green cardamoms and ½ kg khoya.
- Mix and cook well.
- Now spread fried bread slices in a pan, pour cooked milk mixture on the bread, and wait for the bread to absorb the liquid.
- Garnish it with almonds, pistachios, khya and raisins. When the dish is cool enough place silver leaves on it and serve.
