Basil Roti for Weight Loss Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ cup Water
- 1 tbsp Basil seeds
- 1 tbsp Flax seeds
- 1½ cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 2 tbsp Wheat Bran
- ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ cup Water
Green Chutney:
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Chickpeas
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tbsp Coconut Oil
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2-3 Green Chilies
- 1 cup Fresh Coriander
- ½ cup Mint Leaves
Instructions
- In water, add basil seeds, mix well and soak for 15 minutes & set aside.
- In mixer ,add flax seeds, grind well & set aside
- In bowl,add whole wheat flour, wheat bran, cumin seeds, salt, ground flax seed and soaked basil seeds, mix well.
- Gradually add water,knead until dough is formed and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Knead dough again,take a small dough,coat in dry flour and make a ball.
- Sprinkle flour and roll out with the help of rolling pin.
- Heat griddle, place rolled dough and cook from both sides.
For Green Chutney:
- In blender,add garlic,chickpeas,cumin seeds,pink salt,coconut oil,lemon juice,green chilies,fresh coriander, mint leaves and blend until well combined.
