
Indian Style Chicken Satay Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ kg Chicken cubes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp Schewan sauce
FOR BATTER
- 2 tbsp Corn flour
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 qty Egg
- ¼ tsp Salt and black pepper
FOR SAUCE
- ¼ cup Oil
- 2 tbsp Crushed garlic
- 2 tbsp Schezwansauce
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Crushed red pepper
- ½ tsp Crushed black pepper
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Corn flour (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
- Orange color a pinch
- 1 cup Water
Instructions
FOR CHICKEN
- Marinate chicken cubes with salt, ginger garlic, chili powder, black peppeer, soy sauce, ketchup and schezwan sauce, leave it for 1 hour.
- Put chicken cubes on wooden skewers, dip in prepared batter and deep fry in fry pan, remove and keep aside.
FOR BATTER
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and prepare the batter.
FOR SAUCE
- Heat ¼ cup oil, fry crushed garlic until light golden.
- Add in all the remaining ingredients, fry 2 minutes.
- Add water, thicken with corn flour paste.
- Add honey and color, put the chicken skewers in the sauce, toss well.
- Serve in a platter garnished with chopped greens and spring onion leaves.
