Indian Style Chicken Satay Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • ½ kg Chicken cubes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Schewan sauce

FOR BATTER

  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1 qty Egg
  • ¼ tsp Salt and black pepper

FOR SAUCE

  • ¼ cup Oil
  • 2 tbsp Crushed garlic
  • 2 tbsp Schezwansauce
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Crushed red pepper
  • ½ tsp Crushed black pepper
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Corn flour (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
  • Orange color a pinch
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions
 

FOR CHICKEN

  • Marinate chicken cubes with salt, ginger garlic, chili powder, black peppeer, soy sauce, ketchup and schezwan sauce, leave it for 1 hour.
  • Put chicken cubes on wooden skewers, dip in prepared batter and deep fry in fry pan, remove and keep aside.

FOR BATTER

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and prepare the batter.

FOR SAUCE

  • Heat ¼ cup oil, fry crushed garlic until light golden.
  • Add in all the remaining ingredients, fry 2 minutes.
  • Add water, thicken with corn flour paste.
  • Add honey and color, put the chicken skewers in the sauce, toss well.
  • Serve in a platter garnished with chopped greens and spring onion leaves.
