  • ½ tbsp Oil
  • ½ small Onion
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • cup Chicken Broth
  • ¼ cup Heavy Cream
  • ¼ cup Green Chilies
  • ½ tsp Cumin
  • ½ tsp Dried Oregano
  • tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • 8 tbsp Cream Cheese
  • ½ cup Cheese (shredded)
  • cup Shredded Chicken


  • Heat olive oil in a dutch oven, over medium heat. Add the onion and saute for 5 to 7 minute, until soft.
  • Add the garlic and saute for 1-2 minute, until fragrant.
  • Add the chicken broth, heavy cream, green chiles, cumin, oregano, cayenne pepper, sea salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat to medium and simmer forabout 40 minuteuntil soup has reduced and thickened a bit.
  • Reduce heat to low. Stir in the cream cheese and shredded cheese, until the cheese has melted and the chicken chili is smooth.
  • Stir in shredded chicken and simmer for 5 minute, until thick and creamy.
