Paneer Matar Masala
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg Peas
- 200 gm Cottage cheese
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Crushed garlicĀ
- 1 pcs Onion
- 2 pcs Tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Crushed Red Chilli
- 1 tsp Ground coriander
- 1 tsp Ground White Cumin
- 1 tsp Ground hot spices
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Fresh Cream
- 2 tbsp Coriander finely chopped
- Cooking oil as per requirement
Instructions
- Cut the cottage cheese into small pieces and keep it in the fridge to cool down.
- Heat a cup of cooking oil in a small pan and deep fry the cottage cheese pieces in it until golden.
- In a pan, fry finely chopped onions in four to six tablespoons of cooking oil until golden brown, then add chopped tomatoes and fry until tomato paste forms.
- Add garlic, salt, red chillies, ground coriander and cumin to this paste and fry for one to two minutes, then add peas and fry well.
- While roasting the peas, sprinkle milk in between so that the peas are cooked well.
- Finally add the fried cottage cheese and mix it lightly and sprinkle cream, hot spices and green coriander and keep it on low flame for five to seven minutes.
- Start this delicious instant dish with your choice of parathas or chapatis.
