Turkish Chicken Skewers Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Chicken Breast
- ½ cup Yogurt
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1½ tsp Paprika
- ½ ½ Cinnamon Powder
- ½ tsp Red Chili Flakes
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Salt to taste
Tomato sauce:
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- ½ cup Tomatoes
- 3 cup Tomato Paste
- Water as required
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- White pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Mint leaves
- 1 tsp Basil leaves
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl add yogurt, cumin powder, paprika, chili flakes, cinnamon powder, lemon juice, salt, olive oil and mix well.
- Add chicken strips and mix well.
- Keep it in refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight.
- In a pan heat oil, add tomatoes.
- Sauté for a minute. Add tomato paste and water then mix it. Add salt, black pepper, white pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
- Add mint leaves and basil leaves. Serve it with cooked chicken.
