
Creamy Tomato Basil Soup Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 kg Tomatoes boil with 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp Tomato puree
- 1 tbsp Crushed garlic
- 3 tbsp Ketchup
- 2 cups Stock
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- 2 oz Butter
- 15 qty Basil leaves chopped
- ½ cup Cream
- ½ cup Milk
- 2 tbsp Corn flour
Instructions
- Boil tomatoes in 2 cups water remove, peal and puree.
- Heat butter, add garlic and basil leaves sauté for 1 min, add tomato puree cook for 2 mins, add stock with all the seasonings.
- Lastly thicken with corn flour, add cream and basil.
