Delicious Mathar Recipe
Ingredients
- 750 g Wheat Flour
- 200 g Gond (Edible gum)
- 2 cups Jaggery
- ½ cup Caster Sugar
- 2½ cup Clarified Butter
- 1 cup Grated Coconut
- ½ cup Sliced Almonds
- ½ cup Sliced Pistachio
- 1½ tsp Cardamom Powder
Instructions
- Heat half quantity of clarified butter and fry gum little by little and remove. In the remaining ghee, add Jaggery and wheat flour.
- Cook for at least 15 mins on low flame, then add in the remaining ingredients, mix well and save in a jar.
