
Chicken Tenders In Hot and Sour Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 qty Chicken breast fillet cut into 1 inch strips
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- 1 and 2 tbsp Egg beaten 1 with 2 tbsp water
- Salt and black pepper a pinch
- 2 cups Bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 1 tsp Crushed red pepper
- Oil for frying
INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE
- ¼ cup Oil
- 1 tbsp Chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp Chopped ginger
- 3 tbsp Brown sugar
- ½ tsp Paprika
- ¼ cup Soy sauce
- ½ tsp Chicken powder
- 3 tbsp Siracha sauce
- 3 tbsp Sweet chili sauce
- ¼ cup Water
- 1 tsp Crushed red pepper
- 1 and ¼ tbsp Corn flour 1 tbsp dissolved in ¼ cup water
Instructions
- Marinate chicken strips with baking powder, dip chicken strips in beaten egg mixture, coat with crumbs and sesame seed mixture, deep fry until golden.
METHOD FOR SAUCE
- Heat oil, sauté ginger garlic, add in all the ingredients, thicken sauce with corn flour paste, and toss the fried tenders in the sauce.
