Meringue Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Egg Whites
- ½ tsp Lemon Juice or White Vinegar
- A pinch of Salt
- ½ tsp Vanilla Essence
- 100 gm Sugar
Instructions
- In a clean mixing bowl add egg whites, salt, white vinegar and whisk until frothy
- Gradually start adding sugar, 1-2 tsp at a time,whisk continuously in between each addition
- Check if sugar granules have completely dissolved,add vanilla essence and give it a quick mix
- Add the meringue to a piping bag fitted with star nozzle,pipe cookies on a baking tray lined with a baking paper
- Bake in a preheated oven at 100°C for an hour
- Leave for another hour in the oven
- Store in an air tight container.
