
Baked Alaska Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 Sponge cake eggs
FOR SPONGE
- 3 Eggs
- 3 oz Caster sugar
- 3 oz Flour
- ½ tbsp Vanilla essence
FOR ASSEMBLING BAKED ALASKA
- 2 Egg (whites)
- 1 liter Vanilla ice cream
- 2 oz Caster Sugar
- ¼ tbsp Cream of tartar
- 1 cup Fruit cocktail
- Chocolate Bunties for topping
Instructions
- Put prepared sponge on an oven proof dish.
- Put ice cream topped with fruit cocktail.
- Beat egg whites stiff with caster sugar till fluffy.
- Put to bake in a pre-heated oven 200 degree C for 5 mins. Remove. Top with M&Ms. Serve immediately.
