
Chicken Chana Daal Masala Recipe
Ingredients
- 300 gm Boneless chicken cut into 1 inch cubes
- 250 gm Chana daal boiled till tender
- 1 cup Onion chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger chopped
- 4 qty Green chilies chopped
- 3 to 4 qty Tomatoes sliced
- 1 ½ tsp Coriander powder
- 1 ½ tsp Cumin powder
- 1 ½ tsp Chili powder
- ½ tsp Allspice
- ½ tsp Curry powder
- 1 tsp Kasori methi
- ½ cup Oil
FOR BAGHAR
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 15 to 20 qty Curry leaves
Instructions
- Heat oil add curry leaves and mustard seeds, add chopped onion and fry till light golden add ginger chopped with all dry seasonings, add tomatoes and fry well adding little little water.
- Lastly fold in the boiled daal with all spice, kasori meth, leave it on dum, lastly add green chilies and coriander leaves.
