
Handi Paya Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 qty Mutton paye
- ¼ + ¼ cup Oil
- ¼ cup Water
- 1 ½ tbsp Ginger garlic paste heaped
- 3 qty Green chilies chopped
- 1 cup Onion chopped
- 1 packet Paya masala
- 1 tsp Chili powder heaped
- ½ tsp Crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp All spice leveled
- 2 to 3 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
- 2 tbsp Ginger julienne
- 2 to 3 tbsp Wheat flour dissolved in ½ cup water
Instructions
- Boil mutton paye with mixed whole spices,10 cups water till tender and 2 cups stock left.
- Heat ¼ cup oil plus ¼ cup water in a handi,add boiled paye with stock,remove handi.
- In another handi heat ¼ cup oil,add onion fry till light golden,add ginger garlic paste,paya masala,chili powder,crushed red pepper,¼ cup water,fry well,add this to the paya mixture.
- When boiling the chicken with aata paste,cook for 10 mins on low flame.
- Serve garnished with coriander,green chilies and ginger julienne.
- Serve with naan.
