
Hyderabadi Mutton Curry Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ kg Mutton (with bones)
- 1 cup Oil
- 2 qty Onions (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic
- 3 tsp Chilly Powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- ½ tsp Fenugreek Seeds
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 cups Curd (whipped)
- 1 cup Gram Flour (diluted in 3 cups water)
- 2 cups Water
FOR BAGHAR
- ¼ cup Oil
- ½ cup Onions (sliced)
- 1 tsp Garlic (crushed)
- 8 qty Whole Red Chilies
- 10 to 15 qty Curry Leaves
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- ½ tsp Chilly Powder
- 4 qty Green Chilies (large)
Instructions
- Heat Oil, fry chopped onions till light golden, add in ginger garlic, stir well.
- Add mutton and cook for a while.
- Now add all dry spices with whipped curd and cook for 10 min, add green chilies, when oil comes on top, than add in gram flour mixture with extra water, cover and leave it on low flame for almost 1 hour till mutton is tender and curry thickens.
- Lastly add baghar.
