In a blender add tomatoes, ginger, cashew nuts, green cardamom, black cardamom, cloves, water and blend into thick puree. Set aside.
In a pan heat oil and add fenugreek and peas. Stir fry until peas are cooked and fenugreek changes its color.
In a pan heat oil and add red chilies, curry leaf, cumin seeds and cook for 1 minute. Now add garlic and cook for another minute.
Add onion and cook until it gets translucent. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Now add tomato mixture and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add cooked peas and fenugreek, salt, 1/2 cup water and cook for 5 minutes.
Now cover and cook until oil separated. Add cream, garam masala and give it a good mix.
Your Methi Malai Matar is ready. Serve with roti or naan and enjoy.
