
Okhai Daal Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ cup Mongh ki daal
- ½ cup Masoor ki daal
- ½ cup Channay ki daal
- 1 ½ tsp Salt
- 1 ½ tsp Chili powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- ¼ cup Oil
- ¼ cup Butter
- ½ cup Spinach finally chopped
- ½ bunch Dill chopped
- 3 bunches Meethi chopped
- 1 cup Onion chopped
- 200 gm Loki cut into small cubes
- 2 qty Tomatoes chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger chopped
- 4 qty Green chilies chopped
- ¼ cup Raw Mangoes
- 2 qty Stock cubes
INGREDIENTS FOR BHAGGAR
- ¼ cup Oil
- 15 qty Curry leaves
- 1 ½ tsp Cumin seeds
- 6 qty Whole red chilies
- ¼ cup Lemon juice
Instructions
- Soak all the 3 daals for 2 hour, and then put in a pan for boil, with salt, chili powder, turmeric, all half tsp each heaped.
- And quarter cup oil, till daal tender.
- Then add in all the vegetables with 2 cups water, stock cube, and cook till vegetables tender, lastly give bhgaar with the given ingredients.
