
Kachori Recipe
Ingredients
FOR DOUGH:
- 500 gm Flour
- 60 ml Oil
- 60 gm Clarified butter
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tbsp Soda
- 1 tsp Cumin
- as required Water
FOR FILLING:
- 125 gm Mash dal powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1-½ tsp Red Chili (crushed)
- ½ tsp All spice powder
- 1 tsp Fenugreek
- 1 tsp Crushed Coriander
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 50 gm Clarified Butter
Instructions
FOR DOUGH:
- In the flour mix all the ingredients and knead the dough well with water.
- Leave it for about 15 minutes.
FOR FILLING:
- Heat clarified butter, add cumin and coriander
- Once it gets warm add the remaining ingredients
- Lastly add mash daal powder gradually
- Mix well
- Then make balls out of dough, spread well and add filling
- Heat clarified butter and deep fry the Kachori. Serve hot.
