Chilli Garlic Bites Recipe
Ingredients
For Mince Mixture:
- 300 gm Chicken Mince
- 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Garlic
- ½ cup Spring Onions
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- ½ tsp Salt
- Bread Slices 3 Soaked In Milk ¼ cup
- ¼ cup Cheddar Cheese Grated
For Coating:
- 1 cup Flour
- ½ tsp Salt and Pepper
- Bread Crumbs As Required
- Oil For Deep Frying
Chili Garlic Sauce:
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Crushed Garlic
- 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Water
- ½ tsp Chicken Powder
- 1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
Flour Paste:
- 1 cup Water
- 3 tbsp Flour
For Topping:
- Spring Onion Leaves (chopped)
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients for chicken in a chopper and grind them together, grease your hands and shape the mixture into small size balls, put on a tray and freeze for 1 hour.
- In a plate, take some dry flour, add salt and pepper to it. In another bowl make flour paste with water and flour.
- In the 3rd plate spread bread crumbs. First coat the balls in dry flour, then dip in flour paste, finally coat them well in bread crumbs.
- Deep fry the chicken balls till crisp and golden, remove on a paper towel.
For Sauce:
- Heat butter in a pan, fry chopped garlic and chili flakes for few seconds, add in all the remaining ingredients for sauce, cook on low flame till sauce thick, if it gets too thick add 2 tbsp water.
- Toss the fried balls with prepared garlic sauce, arrange on a platter, garnish with some spring onions on top and serve.
